Saulderson Media has been selected as a finalist for the Young EDGE award at Scottish EDGE Round 14. Scottish EDGE is a competition aimed at identifying and supporting Scotland’s up-and-coming, innovative, high-growth potential entrepreneurial talent. There are various awards as part of the Scottish EDGE, one called Young EDGE which is focused on businesses with owners between ages 18 and 30.
Saulderson Media were one of 289 applicants for round 14, a record number for Scottish EDGE. From this 289 applicants approx. 60 businesses proceed to the Scottish EDGE semi-finals, approx. 10 Social Enterprises proceed through to the Social Enterprise EDGE Final, 15 businesses to the Young EDGE Final and 15 businesses to the Wild Card EDGE Final.
Saulderson Media are delighted to be 1 of 15 finalists for the Young EDGE award. Founder and CEO, Suhit Amin, will be required to take part in a live pitch to a panel of judges plus a Q&A as part of the final on May 16th.
There are approx. 7 awards as part of the Young EDGE, one top winner receiving a grant of £15,000 and a place at a future Scottish EDGE final, and 6 other winners receiving grants of £10,000. The winners will attend an awards ceremony in Edinburgh on the 13th of June 2019.
